Yukon Population by Age Group
The Yukon, was recorded as having a population of 35,874 people in 2016, which while small, still achieved a healthy growth of 5.8 percent over the previously recorded 33,897 inhabitants in 2011. 25,340 inhabitants were between the ages of 15 and 64 years of age, with 6,280 youths under the age of 15 and 4,260 individuals 65 years and over. Perhaps because of the somewhat harsher weather and challenging living conditions for many, no individuals were recorded as being 100 years of age or older. However, insurance solutions like for example, life assurance, health insurance coverage, dental insurance, and different varieties of travel insurance are likely to continue to be important for many residents.
