What Can Statistics Tell us about London Insurance?
A little bit norths of Lake Erie and the United States border lies a city called London, which was originally intended to be the capital of Upper Canada in the late 1700s. Nowadays, the city of London, Ontario is a large Canadian city in south-western Ontario, surrounded by farmlands and woodlands. It presents beautiful parks along the Thames River (obviously named after London in England, along with a Piccadilly Street and Covent Garden Market). With so much green space, it’s no surprise that many call it the “Forest City“. London, Ontario is also home to the world-famous University of Western Ontario, many world-class businesses and is also a showcase for regional art and historical artifacts.
However, as interesting as London, Ontario is, our fascination is with the insurance side of things. We were interested in exactly what the 2016 census information might reveal about the London insurance market prospects.
