What Can Statistics Tell us about Kanata Insurance?
Situated about 22 kilometres west of the city of Ottawa's downtown core, lies one of its largest suburbs named Kanata. The area was originally settled by Europeans in the early 19th century and was mainly an agricultural community until the 1960s, when heavy development and a model community was established, attracting many prominent high technology companies and highly skilled high tech workers. Tiffany Crescent was the first street built in 1964, and the communities of Bridlewood, Morgan's Grant, Beaverbrook, Katimavik, Glen Cairn, Hazeldean and Kanata Lakes were intended to have their own unique culture and commercial centres. Kanata is the home of many well known hi-tech companies, including Ericsson, Blackberry, Wesley Clover, Halogen Software, DragonWave, Nokia and Ciena.
