Class 5 License Information Saskatchewan

Class 7 License

• You must be 16 years or older
• If you under the age of 18 you must get parent/guardian approval
• Visit a licensing office to pass a vision test and a written knowledge test about the rules of the road and traffic signs.

• Maintain zero blood alcohol level at all times
• You much always be accompanied with a supervising driver who has a minimum of 4 years fully licensed driving experience
• May not drive between the hours of midnight and 5 am

Can be eligible to take the road test for Novice 1 after 9 months by having Mandatory education - high school training (30 hours in-class, six hours in-car) or commercial training (six hours in-class, six hours in-car)

Class 5 Novice I License

Pass Class 5 road test Rules to abide by when driving with a Novice 1 license:

• Maintain zero blood alcohol level at all times
• Duration license must be held
• 6 months (uninterrupted by license suspension/traffic convictions)

Class 5 Novice II License

Automatically graduated to this level after 6 interruption free months of holding a Novice 1

Maintain zero blood alcohol level at all times

12 months (uninterrupted by license suspensions/traffic convictions). At this point you receive your complete Class 5 license
